Dark Session 2026

The sixth edition of the Dark Session Festival will once again take place in Frýdek-Místek, featuring a prominent international guest – the Dutch death metal band Graceless. The program will be complemented by five Czech (and one Polish) acts representing a wide spectrum of extreme metal subgenres, from established names to promising newcomers.

Since their formation in 2016, Graceless have quickly gained worldwide attention with their crushing combination of aggressive death metal riffs, heavy grooves and raw sound. Their powerful live performances deliver an intense sonic experience that goes far beyond a typical concert. Their latest album Icons of Ruin (2025) confirms the band’s uncompromising drive and growing reputation within the global metal scene.

The Czech line-up includes bands such as Fearharmonia, blending orchestral melodies with aggressive vocals and progressive riffs, thrash-metal outfit Teralodon, and the dark metal band Dark Angels, who returned to the stage in 2024 after a five-year hiatus. The line-up is further complemented by Naurrakar, Darkwind and Polish Heretique.

In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the main hall of the Národní dům Frýdek-Místek.
